Description

UTEX Style 0738 is UTEX’s supreme service washpipe packing composed of a high temperature nitrile elastomer and an aramid fabric with proprietaty internal lubricants. Style 0738 is laminated in a horizontal configuration with a special homogeneous nitrile shoulder bonded to the heel of the packing. The ID surfaces are coated with gold color proprietary space age lubricant to reduce start up friction.

UTEX Style 0738 is resistant to hydrocarbon liquids and gases. It is used extensively as washpipe packing in oilfield drilling.
